What to wear on a date |
|
You only get one chance to make a first impression so your first date should be important! What to wear on a date? It is very much going to depend on where you're going on a date. If you're going somewhere posh then you'll need to dress very differently to if you're going to watch a sporting event. Even different sporting events have different dress codes. If you're going to Royal Ascot you might not wear exactly the same outfit as you would to a football match! And if you even think you would for a minute then you need some seriously help. As with the rest of your life you need to put some time and effort into your wardrobe. Grey slip on plastic shoes are not nice! White towelling socks should be worn for tennis only. Red sparkly shoes and lyrca hotpants might be your favourite but they'll be a bit much if you're just going down to a quiet pub. Think carefully about your choice of clothes and its important to make
a good impression. If you're not sure what to wear ask your friends! They're bound to have lots of ideas! If you're really stuck then remember smart casual works most of the time - and a little black dress can look fantastic! Make sure it is clean, ironed and you've got clean fresh hair and you've brushed your teeth and you should be fine! Don't wear anything too tarty, too old fashioned, or too smart! Wear something that you enjoy wearing - that'll give you confidence. Sometimes wearing something brand new means you feel a bit awkward and stiff. |
