How do you know he likes you? |
|
How do you know if he likes you? Its a really common question that women ask all the time "How do I know he likes me?" It's second only to "Will he ring me?" Finding out if he likes you after your first date is simple if you've swapped contact details and depending on what is said at the end of the date. If he pecks you on the cheek, smiles and says he'll call you then waht does he really mean? If he kisses you on the lips and says he'll call you then he is more likely to call you. The key is also not to be desperate for him to call. That way at least when you don't hear from him you aren't completely devastated. It's also a good reason not to get carried away on a first date (Or second or third) - there's no need to "put out" immediately. Anyone who doesn't like you because you won't have sex with them on a first date has something wrong with their mind! The dating process should be one of making friends rather than lovers. If you're disappointed when a bloke doesn't call you after one date how devastated will you be if you'd slept with him. Men sometimes say they'll call you and don't. Sometimes there are genuine reasons for this - sometimes it will be because they can't be bothered though. The same applies to women too - a woman who says she'll call you might not! The whole dating game is complex and confusing and worst of all there are no exact rules. There's no exact science to it and its impossible to predict. You can increase your chances of having a second date by being relaxed and casual about the process. Being uptight and carrying a wedding magazine on a date is a bit of a no-no! It is probably easier to list things not to do but even that would be restrictive. Being relaxed is something you need to do. Imagine that each date you go on is not a date but a making friend event! What do you do when you're out with friends. Take a moment to imagine you're out with your friends - in the evening and in the day. What do you do. how do you sit, act, smile, talk? Imagine and visualise every detail of time spent with your friends. What do you see? Do you see yourself laughing and smiling, sharing
jokes and stories about the day? lovers are friends you haven't slept with yet! Things you shouldn't bring up on a first date * Why you split with your ex * Why you divorced your ex * How you split up with your ex * Why you want to get back with your ex * Why you want to get married * Why you went to the VD clinic last week None of these things should be discussed! If this is someone you've met online through a dating agency you should have chatted with them several times before meeting them and you should know a few basics about them I'd suggest keeping notes on who you chat to online - just basic things as pointers if you're chatting to a couple of people at once you might get confused. Don't keep copious obsessive notes though. That's a bad thing. You'll know by the time you decide to meet them - and don't be rushed or pressured into meeting anyone - that you have various things in common and should get on ok. Ensuring you've got something to talk about might mean a quick recap of their interests on their profile. If in doubt you can always say "I've forgotten what you said about blah blah - do you like that or not?" - obviously if you do that with everything they'll know you're either very forgetful or just plain not interested in them. Swapping contact details is a big way of finding out if you got on enough for a second date. If you get a business phone number or email then that's not the best sign. If you've been given every method of contacting them including their msn icq or other chat network id then you're probably past the first hurdle of making friends. Offer what you're prepared to give only. Don't be rushed into giving out your home address and phone number - give a mobile or work number if you're playing it cautious or you aren't that interested. If you want to see them again and think things have gone well saying something like "Do you fancy going to X next week?" can be a good step towards finding out if things went well for them too. Don't be dishearted if they say they've got to check the date and will get back to you. You've just got to relax about these things and not get wound up. Don't do anything on a first date you might regret. Its always a good idea to stay relatively sober and make your own way home. Finding out if he likes you is complex and tricky but if you remember the actual date then that's much better! You might not know if he likes you, but if you're natural and yourself then you stand more chance of making a good friend and then you never know what might happen!
